Cada vez que los camiones recolectores de basura cruzan por las calles y empiezan a comprimir la basura, dejan desechos en el lugar donde lo hacen, unas veces mas que otras. Estos desechos son altamente tóxicos debido al contenido de lixiviado, afectando en especial a los niños, transeúntes y habitantes de la zona.
Se debe tomar en consideración la posibilidad de lavar estos vehículos cuando descargan en el relleno sanitario.
