No quiero generalizar en el tema que a continuación mencionaré. Sin embargo, la frecuencia de los abusos de algunos taxistas no sólo se limita al cobro excesivo por las carreras, sino que ahora los usuarios tenemos que ser víctimas de insultos por tener un “billete grande” (refiriéndose a los billetes de 20.000 o 50.000) y que además unilateralmente decidan cambiar la tarifa pactada mientras el usuario se encuentra dentro del vehículo.
En el barrio Manga, por la carrera 21, el viernes 27 de julio a las 10:00 p.m., un compañero de la Universidad y yo, tomamos el taxi de placas SPI 810. Acordamos la ruta con el taxista: de Manga a Ternera, haciendo una parada en el Sao La Plazuela. Luego de mucho pensarlo decidió cobrarnos $14.000, que aún con recargo nocturno sigue siendo una tarifa abusiva.
Si hacemos cuentas, según las tarifas establecidas por la Alcaldía y publicadas por El Universal el 8 de febrero del presente año, la ruta del Centro hasta Ternera debe costar $9.800, más los $500 pesos de recargo nocturno. En total el usuario debe pagar $10.300 pesos. Sin embargo, el chofer decidió cobrarnos $3700 pesos más de lo que debía cobrar.
Por el afán de llegar a nuestras casas, finalmente decidimos pagar la abusiva tarifa.
A la altura del Estadio Olímpico Jaime Morón León, le pasamos al chofer dos billetes de diez mil pesos para pagar. Aquí él aprovecha para decirnos que nos cobrará $15.000 porque se había equivocado de tarifa.
Como usuarios quedamos perplejos y le dijimos que eso no era posible y que no pagaríamos aquel absurdo. Él insistía en que nos iba a cobrar los $15.000. Ante la negativa de nosotros, decidió parar el carro, bajarnos, cobrarnos la mitad de la carrera ($7000 mil pesos) y dejarnos botados en la vía solitaria. Luego que nos bajamos nos gritó: “Tras que les estoy haciendo el favor de llevarlos, no quieren pagar”.
Para no alargar el tema, tomar el servicio de taxi no es un favor señor taxista. Es un favor cuando la acción que se lleva a cabo es gratuita, pero este no es el caso, obviamente. Además, este servicio es público y por tanto el usuario merece respeto.
Y ni pensar en acciones legales porque no hay pruebas que respalden lo sucedido.
A través de estas líneas quiero hacer un llamado al Departamento Administrativo de Tránsito y Transporte –DATT-. En Cartagena necesitamos medidas drásticas: El taximetro. Que se cobre lo justo. Aunque a unos taxistas este tema no les parezca favorable, porque se les acaba el negocio.
Es importante que las entidades competentes también piensen en el usuario, que se le respete y que se hagan valer sus derechos.

Bueno este tema es ya bastante comun... Pero lo que yo quiero proponer es algo radical aunque sea por un dia si bien el servcio de taxis es mas "seguro" y deberia ser economico para todo el mundo el dia sin moto como dicen por pularmente estos "manes se estiran" no solo te cobran mucho más de lo justo sino que se dan el lujo de decirte en la cara que no te van a llevar y si te llevan tienes que pagarles lo ellos digan... A toda la ciudadania el dia sin moto TOMEMOS BUSES Y BUSETAS y NO TAXIS para ver si les gusta. A ellos no les importa la necesidad de los usuario sino hacer plata mientras que en dias "normales" hasta se pelean por nosotros los pasajeros se que de esto vive mucha gente pero no es justo ese comportamitno egoista... es que de recordar las esperiencias que me indugno con frases como "te cobro xxxxx si te gusta bien sino de malas lo que hay es carrera".

Horrible episodio, pero es lo que ocurre a diario en esta ciudad donde los taxista cobran lo que les da la gana y se aprovechan de la necesidad del usuario que desea llegar a su casa, trabajo. Pobre los turistas que visitan la ciudad a estos los atracan con semejantes tarifas. Ojala este suceso sirva para que las autoridades competentes tomen medidas.
